Tomorrow, August 11, 2012, 52 new conditions will be added to the Compassionate Allowance List for a total of 165 conditions. A person with a condition on the Compassionate Allowance List will have his or her claim expedited. The Social Security Administration has set a goal of processing these claims within 20 days. To be recognized as a claimant with a condition on the Compassionate Allowance List, a claimant needs to allege his or her condition in the application.
